Job Description

Qualys is hiring for the post of Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Design, develop, and deliver web-based applications and services
Deliver new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing engineering team
Mentor other developers on the web, backend, and our system
Constantly evaluate product’s architecture, performance, scale, user exp
Apply Object Oriented principles like SOLID, DRY
Work closely with the product manager and cross-functional groups to develop product requirements
Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services

Requirements:

0-3 years experience in Java backend development
Java 8, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Knowledge of Distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka
Working experience in technologies like Elasticsearch
Knowledge of distributed caching
Exposure to Oracle database
Good knowledge of data structures, distributed system
Good to have Experience in k8s, docker
Reactjs/Redux
